A fan vote is underway to determine the top boys cross-country runner in central Ohio for the regular season, according to the Columbus Dispatch. The poll, organized by the newspaper, invites readers to select from a list of standout performers across the region as of October 29, 2026.
Reporter Frank DiRenna noted that the voting period runs through early November, with results expected to highlight the area's most consistent distance runners. Central Ohio has produced several state qualifiers this year, making the competition particularly tight.
The winner will be announced in a follow-up article, recognizing the athlete's achievements during the regular season.
