Australia's Marnus Labuschagne has not scored a Test century since the 2023 Ashes series, according to a report by BBC Sport journalist Matthew Henry published on October 29, 2026.
The right-handed batter's form has hit a record low, raising questions about his place in the side. However, the article suggests that Australian selectors are hinting at a longer-term role for Labuschagne despite the current slump.
Labuschagne, once the world's top-ranked Test batsman, has struggled to convert starts into three-figure scores over the past three years. The 2023 Ashes remains his last century in the format.
Australian team management has indicated they remain confident in his ability to return to form, pointing to his overall record and work ethic.
