Milwaukee Brewers closer Trevor Megill delivered sharp criticism of the roof at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, according to a report by Andrew Joseph for The Win published on Yahoo Sports on October 26, 2026. Megill's comments highlight ongoing concerns about the stadium's unique fixed-roof design, which has long been a topic of discussion among players and fans. The Rays have played at Tropicana Field since their inception in 1998, and the stadium's roof has occasionally affected gameplay, including balls hitting catwalks and speakers suspended from the ceiling.
