Yahoo Sports published its Big Ten Conference power rankings for Week 8 of the 2026 college football season on Thursday. The weekly ranking assesses the relative strength of all Big Ten teams through the first seven weeks of play.
The release coincides with Indiana's matchup against Michigan at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on October 24, where Hoosiers quarterback Josh Hoover featured prominently. The game served as a key data point for the conference hierarchy heading into the second half of the regular season.
Nick Richards authored the rankings overview, which evaluates team records, strength of schedule, and recent performance trends across the conference.
