Tennessee Volunteers football program announced that one of its defensive linemen has been named to the watch list for the Chuck Bednarik Award, presented annually to the top defensive player in college football. The recognition comes from Vols Wire reporter Ken Lay on October 29, 2026.
The Bednarik Award, named after the former Philadelphia Eagles and University of Pennsylvania standout, honors defensive excellence at the collegiate level. Tennessee's inclusion on the watch list highlights the program's defensive talent as the season progresses.
