Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander expressed confidence that the team can overcome notable absences, according to a report from OKC Thunder Wire on Thursday.
The comments come after the Thunder's game against the Dallas Mavericks on October 28, 2026, at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Gilgeous-Alexander, wearing number 2, was photographed shooting over Mavericks forward P.J. Washington during the first quarter.
Reporter Clemente Almanza noted the Thunder star's optimism despite the team missing key players, though specific absences were not detailed in the report.
