NASCAR driver Kyle Larson faced reporters on September 2, 2026, during the series' championship media day at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina. The event marked the traditional preview for the season's playoff finale, with Larson among the title contenders fielding questions ahead of the decisive race weekend.
Larson's appearance comes amid discussion about his standing in the sport's current era, with observers noting that another championship could further cement his legacy. The 2021 Cup Series champion has remained a consistent front-runner, and his performance in the playoffs will determine whether he adds a second title to his resume.
Photographer Jim Dedmon captured Larson during the media session, which served as the final major press availability before the championship race. The media day typically features all four championship finalists discussing their preparation, mindset, and season journey.
