Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown sparked debate after claiming that NBA awards are "made up," drawing mixed reactions from fans across social media. The comment, which quickly went viral, prompted responses ranging from agreement to frustration, with some users calling the take "getting exhausting" while others declared "he's 100% right."
Brown, a multiple-time All-Star, did not specify which awards he was referencing, but his remarks have reignited discussions about the credibility and voting processes behind honors such as MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and All-NBA teams. The NBA has not issued an official response to Brown's statement.
