Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta has emphasized the need for a new shared stadium for Inter and AC Milan to close the financial gap with Europe's elite clubs. Speaking to Football Italia, Marotta said the current San Siro facility limits revenue potential and puts the Milanese giants at a disadvantage compared to rivals with modern, high-capacity venues.
Both clubs have explored options for a state-of-the-art stadium, but planning and bureaucratic hurdles have delayed progress. Marotta warned that without a new home, Inter and Milan risk falling further behind in the race for top talent and commercial income.
