Former NBA player LaPhonso Ellis, longtime coach Steve Lavin, and former WNBA star Stacey Dales are set to rejoin ESPN's college basketball broadcast team for the upcoming season. The network announced the return of the three analysts, who have previously contributed to ESPN's coverage of the men's and women's game.
Ellis, a Notre Dame standout and 11-year NBA veteran, has served as a studio analyst. Lavin, who coached at UCLA and St. John's, brings extensive sideline experience. Dales, a two-time All-American at Oklahoma and former WNBA first-round pick, has worked as a reporter and analyst for both college and professional basketball.
The trio will appear across ESPN's platforms, including game broadcasts, studio shows, and tournament coverage. Their return adds depth to a lineup that includes established voices such as Jay Bilas, Dick Vitale, and Rebecca Lobo.
