The San Francisco 49ers are not expected to pursue a trade for a star wide receiver ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to a league insider.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan was seen leaving the field after the team's victory over the Washington Commanders at Levi's Stadium on October 19, 2026. The 49ers' current receiving corps appears set for the remainder of the season.
The report comes as several contending teams explore upgrades at the position, but San Francisco appears content with its existing roster construction.
