The Carolina Panthers have fired defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and appointed Todd Wash as interim defensive coordinator, the team announced Friday.
The move represents a significant shakeup of the Panthers' defensive staff. Evero had served as defensive coordinator since 2023. Wash, a veteran NFL coach, steps into the role on an interim basis.
The decision was reported by Nick Brinkerhoff of USA TODAY on October 30, 2026.
