Haas has removed Esteban Ocon from its Formula 1 driver lineup for the rest of the 2026 season following a reported disagreement, the team confirmed on Tuesday. The decision ends the French driver's tenure with the American-owned squad before the campaign concludes.
Ocon, who joined Haas ahead of the 2025 season after leaving Alpine, has been informed he will not participate in the remaining grands prix. The specific nature of the dispute has not been disclosed publicly by either party.
The move leaves Haas needing to field a replacement driver for the final races of the season. Team principal Ayao Komatsu is expected to address the situation ahead of the next grand prix weekend.
Ocon, a race winner with Alpine at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, has scored points for Haas this season but has struggled to match the pace of teammate Oliver Bearman in recent events.
