The Las Vegas Raiders have named their team captains for Sunday's Week 8 game against the New York Jets. The announcement came Friday ahead of the AFC matchup at MetLife Stadium.
While the specific players designated as captains for this week were not detailed in the initial report, NFL teams typically select captains on a weekly basis or have season-long captains who represent the team for the coin toss and on-field leadership.
The Raiders enter the game looking to build momentum, while the Jets aim to defend their home turf. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
