Ireland seamer Jai Moondra claimed the best ever one-day international figures for an Ireland bowler with 6-26 as the tourists beat Namibia by 130 runs in Windhoek to level the five-match series at 2-2. Moondra's haul eclipsed Josh Little's previous record of 6-36 against Zimbabwe in 2023.
Moondra's Historic Spell
After Ireland posted 298-8 in their 50 overs, Moondra struck early to reduce Namibia to 32-3. A 57-run eighth-wicket stand between Zane Green (45) and Ruben Trumpelmann (40) offered brief resistance, but Moondra removed both in nine deliveries to secure his first international five-wicket haul. The India-born 29-year-old finished the innings by dismissing Jack Brassell, wrapping up Namibia for 168 in 41 overs.
Tector and Campher Shine with Bat
Stand-in captain Lorcan Tucker lost the toss and Ireland were put in to bat. Tim Tector, making his ODI debut after eight T20 caps, opened the innings and scored 73 off 81 balls with seven fours and three sixes. Curtis Campher continued his excellent form with 66 off 50 balls, raising his 2026 ODI average to 55 across eight matches. George Dockrell added an unbeaten 47. Namibia's Jan Frylinck took 4-44.
Regular captain Paul Stirling missed the remainder of the series with a broken finger sustained in the third game. The series decider is scheduled for Sunday.
