A proposed trade scenario reported by Yahoo Sports suggests the Kansas City Chiefs could cut ties with wide receiver Xavier Worthy in exchange for a struggling $14 million playmaker. The report, authored by Jonathan Adams on October 30, 2026, outlines a hypothetical deal that would move the second-year receiver out of Kansas City.
Worthy, who wears number 1 for the Chiefs, was photographed celebrating with quarterback Patrick Mahomes after Kansas City's 27-20 season-opening victory over the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium on September 5, 2024. The article does not specify the identity of the $14 million player who would come to the Chiefs in the proposed transaction.
