Former NFL offensive lineman Lomas Brown has added his voice to speculation linking the Detroit Lions with a move for Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby. The suggestion comes as Crosby continues to establish himself as one of the league's premier defensive ends.
Crosby, wearing No. 98 for the Raiders, was photographed warming up before a game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on October 11, 2026. The 26-year-old has earned multiple Pro Bowl selections since being drafted in 2019.
Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler during his 18-season career primarily with the Lions, believes Detroit's defense would benefit significantly from adding a player of Crosby's caliber. The Lions have been building a competitive roster but remain in search of a consistent elite pass rush presence.
