Fantasy football managers received a significant injury update on Friday as Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks were ruled out, opening the door for Makai Lemon to step into a featured role.
The update comes after the Eagles' loss to the Carolina Panthers on October 18, 2026, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Smith, wearing number 6, was seen leaving the field following the defeat.
With both Smith and Wicks sidelined, Lemon is expected to see increased targets and playing time, making him a potential waiver wire pickup for fantasy leagues.
