Mercedes driver George Russell has tipped Mercedes junior Frederik Vesti to secure a Formula 1 seat with the new Cadillac team for the 2027 season, according to a report by Yahoo Sports on October 31, 2026.
Russell, who has raced alongside Vesti in Mercedes' development program, believes the Danish driver has the talent to step up to a full-time race seat when Cadillac enters the championship in 2027.
