Jets Reportedly Not Open to Trading Garrett Wilson
World Sports · 22:51:11 - Sunday, 1 November 2026

The New York Jets are reportedly not open to trading wide receiver Garrett Wilson, according to a report from Yahoo Sports on Saturday. The 24-year-old pass catcher has emerged as one of the NFL's premier young receivers since being selected 10th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Wilson has consistently led the Jets in receiving yards in each of his first three seasons, surpassing 1,000 yards in both 2022 and 2023 despite quarterback instability. The Ohio State product recorded 101 receptions for 1,104 yards and seven touchdowns last season while working with multiple starting quarterbacks.

The report comes amid speculation about the Jets' roster construction as they look to build around quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Wilson's combination of route-running precision, contested-catch ability, and yards-after-catch production makes him a cornerstone offensive piece that New York appears intent on retaining long-term.
