After a 3-0 start, the Las Vegas Raiders have lost four straight games, fueling speculation that star pass rusher Maxx Crosby could be moved before the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline. Reporter Jason La Canfora says several teams are weighing a bid for the five-time Pro Bowler, with the asking price believed to be two future first-round draft picks. Here are five teams that could pursue a deal for the 29-year-old defensive end.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys tried to acquire Crosby in the offseason to replace Micah Parsons, who was traded before last season. Dallas is tied for the fewest sacks in the league (7) through seven weeks and has only four draft picks in 2027. Owner Jerry Jones may still be willing to pay the steep price with the NFC East wide open.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville sits at 4-2 and is considered a dark-horse Super Bowl contender. The Jaguars rank near the bottom in pass rush, and they possess extra Day 3 picks in April. A package including receiver Brian Thomas Jr. could potentially lower the Raiders' demand for two first-rounders.
Detroit Lions
Detroit (4-2) boasts a top-tier offense but a defense that remains a weakness. Pairing Crosby with Aidan Hutchinson would dramatically improve the front four and aid a banged-up secondary. The Lions may be desperate enough to surrender two first-round picks to chase their first championship while their title window is open.
New York Giants
The Giants lead the NFC East at 4-2-1 and are among the league leaders with 21 sacks. Despite that, reports indicate bolstering the defensive line is a priority. Adding Crosby to an improving defense could turn New York into a second-half contender, echoing their past championship teams built on pass rush depth.
Buffalo Bills
Buffalo (5-1) is again in the Super Bowl hunt behind Josh Allen, but the defense allows 28 points per game. Crosby wouldn't make the unit elite, but he would bring it closer to average — possibly enough to push the Bills over the top for their first championship. The front office might part with two first-rounders to end the title drought.
