Indiana Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti has made a quarterback change for the team's matchup against Minnesota, benching starter Josh Hoover in favor of Grant Wilson.
The decision comes as Indiana looks to spark its offense against the Golden Gophers. Hoover had started the season as the Hoosiers' primary signal-caller but has been replaced by Wilson for this Big Ten conference game.
Wilson will make his first start of the season for Indiana. The quarterback change represents a significant strategic shift for the Hoosiers as they aim to improve their offensive production in conference play.
