No. 3 Georgia secured a 27-8 victory over No. 17 Florida coming off its bye week, but the Bulldogs' offensive output raised concerns despite the three-score rivalry win. Georgia managed just 318 total yards against a Florida defense that entered the game ranked 13th in the SEC and 121st nationally in passing yards allowed (255.0 per game). The Bulldogs forced four turnovers, including a scoop-and-score, and turned two other takeaways into 10 points on short fields.

The primary worry is the passing game. Quarterback Gunner Stockton completed 13 of 23 passes for only 101 yards. Freshman Craig Dandridge led the receivers with 39 yards, 32 of which came on the longest play of the game. Head coach Kirby Smart acknowledged the issue postgame, telling ESPN's Holly Rowe: "We missed some throws. We left some points out there. We gotta get better."

Stockton has shown flashes this season, throwing for 295 yards and three touchdowns against Vanderbilt and making difficult throws in a road win over Alabama. However, three turnovers in a loss to Auburn highlighted his mistake-prone tendencies. The receiving corps has yet to produce a consistent playmaker: Dandridge leads with 20 catches for 349 yards, while tight end Lawson Luckie has 12 receptions for 197 yards and two touchdowns.

Georgia's defense, which held quarterback Keelon Russell in check earlier, will face a gauntlet of talented opposing quarterbacks over the next three weeks: Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss), Austin Simmons (Missouri), and LaNorris Sellers (South Carolina). If the Bulldogs are forced into high-scoring affairs, the passing attack must improve. With national championship aspirations, Georgia will likely encounter potent offenses such as Miami, Notre Dame, LSU, and Ohio State — led by standout receiver Jeremiah Smith — down the road.
