New York Jets running back Breece Hall is expected to miss the team's Week 8 matchup, according to a report from USA TODAY Sports on Sunday. The news comes as a blow to the Jets' offense, which has relied heavily on Hall's dual-threat ability out of the backfield this season.
Hall, who was drafted by New York in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, has emerged as one of the league's most dynamic young running backs. His absence will likely increase the workload for the Jets' backup running backs and could alter the team's offensive game plan for the upcoming contest.
The specific nature of Hall's injury or the expected timeline for his return was not immediately detailed in the initial report. The Jets have not yet released an official injury designation for the Week 8 game.
