The Tennessee Volunteers climbed to No. 16 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll released Sunday, moving up one spot in each ranking following their off week. The Volunteers, coached by Josh Heupel, were idle last weekend after a 34-28 loss to Alabama on October 17 at Neyland Stadium.
Tennessee's record stands at 6-2 overall and 3-2 in SEC play. The team will return to action next Saturday when they host Kentucky in Knoxville.
