The 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only NFL team to complete a perfect season, celebrated after the Minnesota Vikings suffered a loss on Sunday, ensuring that the Dolphins' 17-0 record remains unique in league history.
The Vikings' defeat means no team finished the 2026 regular season undefeated, allowing the 1972 Dolphins to maintain their exclusive status. Members of the historic team traditionally gather to mark the occasion when the last unbeaten team falls.
Nick Pugliese of the Palm Beach Post reported on the celebration, which took place on November 1, 2026.
