American tennis player Ben Shelton has added former world No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero to his coaching team for the 2027 season, according to reports on Monday.
The announcement comes after Shelton's recent appearance at the Swiss Indoors tournament in Basel, where he faced Switzerland's Jerome Kym on October 29, 2026.
Ferrero, a former French Open champion and current coach of Carlos Alcaraz, will join Shelton's existing coaching setup as they prepare for the upcoming season.
