West Ham United have initiated contact with Scott Parker regarding their managerial vacancy following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo. The East London club moved to dismiss the Portuguese coach after a disappointing run of results, leaving them searching for their fourth permanent manager since May 2024.
Parker, who previously managed Fulham, Bournemouth, and Club Brugge, has emerged as the leading candidate to take charge at the London Stadium. The 43-year-old English coach has been out of work since his departure from the Belgian side earlier this year.
The Hammers' hierarchy are understood to be keen on a swift appointment to stabilize the squad ahead of a crucial period in the Premier League season. West Ham currently sit in the lower half of the table and face mounting pressure to improve their league position.
If appointed, Parker would become the fourth permanent manager to take the reins at West Ham in just over 18 months, highlighting the instability that has plagued the club's technical area since David Moyes' departure in May 2024.
