Dodge will return to NASCAR's premier Cup Series competition at the 2027 Daytona 500, marking the manufacturer's re-entry into the sport's top division after an absence since the 2012 season. The announcement signals a significant expansion of NASCAR's manufacturer lineup for the 2027 campaign.

The 2027 Daytona 500, scheduled for February at Daytona International Speedway, will serve as the stage for Dodge's comeback race. The manufacturer previously competed in the Cup Series from 2001 through 2012, capturing a championship with driver Brad Keselowski in 2012 before departing the series.

Details regarding Dodge's team partnerships, driver lineup, and technical specifications for the 2027 season have not yet been disclosed. NASCAR currently features competition from Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota in the Cup Series.
