The Oklahoma Sooners fell to the South Carolina Gamecocks 42-25 on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. The defeat marks another low point in what has become a deeply disappointing season for the Sooners.
Quarterback John Mateer was seen attempting passes during the game, but the offense could not keep pace with South Carolina's scoring. The loss adds to mounting criticism of the program's direction this year.
