The Toronto Blue Jays have cut ties with outfielder Myles Straw, a Gold Glove Award winner, after just two seasons with the club. The move makes Straw a free agent heading into the offseason.
Straw, known for his elite defensive skills in center field, joined the Blue Jays but will now explore opportunities elsewhere after the team decided not to retain him for a third year.
