Inter Milan are reportedly considering adding a striker to their squad ahead of the upcoming transfer window, but a return for former captain Mauro Icardi is not under consideration.
The Italian champions are evaluating potential attacking reinforcements to provide depth and competition for places in Simone Inzaghi's forward line. Icardi, who left the club in 2019 and currently plays for Galatasaray, has been linked with a move back to San Siro in the past, but the club's hierarchy has decided against pursuing the Argentine international.
No specific targets have been named, and the search is said to be in its early stages as Inter assess their options in the market.
