A new rumor suggests the New York Mets could pursue a trade for a three-time All-Star from their crosstown rivals, the New York Yankees, according to a report from Sportsnaut on Tuesday.
Details about the specific player involved were not disclosed in the initial report, which cited unnamed sources. The speculation arises as both teams evaluate their rosters ahead of the offseason. The Mets have been active in the trade market in recent years, while the Yankees may consider moving veteran pieces to reshape their lineup.
