St. John's University men's basketball program has secured its highest-ranked recruit in program history with the commitment of forward Malachi Jordan. The Dream City Christian Eagles standout, who wore number 5, showcased his skills at the HoopHall West Tournament at Skyline High School in Mesa, Arizona, on January 2, 2026, against Dynamic Prep of Texas.
The addition of Jordan represents a significant milestone for the Red Storm's recruiting efforts. The highly touted prospect chose St. John's over other suitors, elevating the program's national profile ahead of the upcoming season.
