Yamaha has announced it will not compete in the Qatar MotoGP round due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, meaning 2021 world champion Fabio Quartararo will miss the race.
The Japanese manufacturer cited the "Middle East situation" as the reason for its withdrawal from the Grand Prix scheduled in Qatar.
Quartararo, who rides for Yamaha, will consequently be absent from the event.
