Michigan alumnus and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy launched a verbal attack on Ohio State head coach Ryan Day after a Buckeyes loss. Portnoy's remarks, which included crude personal insults, highlight the fierce rivalry between the two programs.
The Buckeyes had previously lost to the Texas Longhorns on September 12, 2026, but it is unclear if that was the specific game that prompted Portnoy's reaction. The incident underscores the intense emotions surrounding one of college football's most storied rivalries.
