The Atlanta Hawks made an announcement regarding forward Jalen Johnson prior to their game against the Washington Wizards. Johnson, who wears No. 1 for Atlanta, has been a key contributor for the Hawks this season.
The announcement comes as the Hawks prepare to face the Wizards in their next scheduled contest. Johnson was photographed in action during Atlanta's October 26, 2026 game against the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center, where he brought the ball up court in the first half.
Details of the specific announcement were not disclosed in the initial report by Heavy's Erik C. Anderson on November 4, 2026. The Hawks organization has not yet released further information on the nature of the update concerning the young forward.
