British teenager Mika Stojsavljevic claimed her first WTA Tour win on Wednesday, defeating grand slam champion Sofia Kenin in three sets.
The 18-year-old qualifier overcame the 2020 Australian Open champion to advance to the next round, marking a breakthrough moment in her young career.
Kenin, a former world No. 4, was unable to contain Stojsavljevic's aggressive play as the British player secured the victory in a deciding third set.
