Scott Parker has been appointed as the new head coach of West Ham United, with the former player tasked with securing the club's promotion back to the Premier League.
Parker, who has previously guided three teams to the top flight, returns to the club where he began his professional career. The 44-year-old made over 100 appearances for West Ham as a player.
The appointment was announced on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. West Ham were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, and the club's hierarchy believe Parker's experience in achieving promotion makes him the ideal candidate to lead an immediate return.
