American golfer Nelly Korda moved within one point of qualifying for the LPGA Hall of Fame after being named the 2026 Rolex Player of the Year, the LPGA announced on Wednesday.
The award, which recognizes the season's top performer based on a points system, gives Korda a significant boost toward the Hall of Fame induction threshold. She now sits one point shy of the required total.
Korda, a multiple major champion and former world number one, has consistently ranked among the sport's elite. The 2026 Rolex Player of the Year honor adds to her growing list of accolades.
