The Chicago Cubs are being touted as a logical destination for free agent pitcher Freddy Peralta, a two-time All-Star, as the MLB offseason progresses. Analysts suggest the fit between Peralta and the Cubs makes too much sense to ignore, given Chicago's need for starting rotation reinforcement.
Peralta, who has spent his entire major league career with the Milwaukee Brewers, becomes a free agent this winter after earning All-Star honors in two seasons. The Cubs' front office has yet to comment publicly on any potential pursuit.
