Former Arsenal and England midfielder Paul Merson has warned that Manchester United will regret missing out on JJ Gabriel after the youngster agreed a move to Real Madrid.
Merson, speaking as a pundit, said Gabriel "could have been a superstar" and claimed United "will be gutted" by the transfer.
The deal sees Gabriel join the Spanish giants, ending speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.
