Alabama basketball is reportedly in contention to secure a commitment from a four-star center for its 2027 recruiting class, with a decision possible as early as this weekend, according to The Tuscaloosa News.
The Crimson Tide coaching staff has been actively pursuing the unnamed prospect, who ranks among the top big men in the 2027 cycle. A commitment would bolster Alabama's frontcourt depth for future seasons.
No official announcement has been made, and the player's identity has not been disclosed. The program continues to evaluate additional targets as the early recruiting period progresses.
