Florida State's 2028 recruiting class took a hit on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, when three-star edge rusher Meshi Dobson announced his decommitment from the Seminoles. Dobson, a 2028 prospect, had been committed to FSU but reopened his recruitment, according to reports from SB Nation's NoleThruandThru.
The decommitment leaves Florida State with one fewer pledge in its 2028 class as the coaching staff continues to evaluate targets. Dobson is expected to explore other options as his recruitment progresses.
