The Houston Texans have made their final roster decision regarding running back David Montgomery ahead of their Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The announcement came Thursday, November 5, 2026, as the team prepares for the upcoming matchup.
Montgomery, who joined the Texans in the offseason, has been a key part of Houston's backfield rotation. The team's decision on his availability for Sunday's game against the Chargers will impact their offensive game plan as they look to maintain momentum in the AFC South race.
Further details on the specific nature of the decision — whether Montgomery will be active, inactive, or limited — are expected to be released closer to game time as part of the official NFL injury and roster reports.
