Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris is expected to make seven changes for the club's UEFA Europa League league phase matchday four fixture against Zagreb on Thursday. The Black Cats held a training session at the Academy of Light on November 4, 2026, with first-team coach Jose Fonte assisting Le Bris in preparations.
The match forms part of the 2026/27 Europa League league phase, with Sunderland looking to build momentum in the competition. Le Bris has rotated his squad heavily in early European fixtures, and the upcoming game against the Croatian side is likely to see a significantly altered starting XI.
