Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts visited the team's facility on Thursday, providing a morale boost to his teammates after being diagnosed with multiple blood clots in his lungs. The star quarterback will miss the remainder of the 2026 season, the team announced.
Hurts, who led the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance in 2023, was diagnosed earlier this week. His visit to the NovaCare Complex on November 5, 2026, was his first since the diagnosis. Teammates and coaches welcomed his presence as a positive sign during a difficult stretch for the team.
The Eagles, currently struggling with a losing record, will turn to backup quarterback Kenny Pickett for the remaining games. Hurts is expected to focus on his recovery and return for the 2027 season.
