New York Yankees players Ben Rice and Cody Bellinger have been named finalists for the 2026 Silver Slugger Award, recognizing the best offensive performers at each position in Major League Baseball.
The announcement was reported by Phillip Martinez of SNY on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The Silver Slugger Award is presented annually to the top offensive player at each position in both the American League and National League, as voted on by MLB managers and coaches.
Rice and Bellinger join other finalists across the league in contention for the prestigious honor, which has been awarded since 1980. Winners are typically announced later in November.
