Houston Texans running back David Montgomery is being evaluated ahead of the team's Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The injury update comes as the Texans prepare for the upcoming game, with Montgomery's availability uncertain.
Montgomery was last seen in action on October 4, 2026, when the Texans faced the Dallas Cowboys at Reliant Stadium. In that game, tight end Dalton Schultz pitched the ball to Montgomery during the second half.
The Texans have not yet released a definitive status for Montgomery, and further updates are expected as the week progresses.
