Mandarin High School wide receiver Brysen Wright has committed to the University of Miami and will reclassify to the 2027 recruiting class, according to a report from the Florida Times-Union.
The Jacksonville standout announced his decision on Thursday, November 5, 2026, choosing the Hurricanes over other suitors. Wright's reclassification means he will enroll a year earlier than originally planned, potentially allowing him to compete for playing time sooner at the collegiate level.
Wright, a product of one of Florida's premier high school programs, adds to Miami's growing pipeline of in-state talent. The commitment continues the Hurricanes' strong recruiting presence in the Jacksonville area under head coach Mario Cristobal.
